- Convertibles tights are recommended as they can be pulled up and street shoes put on easily to leave the studio.
Pink Shoes:
- Both canvas shoes or leather are acceptable.
- Please have drawstrings on shoes secured before class so that your student does not need to retie them during class.
Hair:
- Hair must be pulled back and secured out of face into a neat bun; if your child has fly-aways, please use bobby pins and hairspray.
Please, no gum or jewelry. Stud earrings are acceptable.

White athletic shirt:
- A plain white shirt with no logos, please.
Black biker shorts or black tights
Black ballet shoes:
- Both canvas shoes or leather are acceptable.
- Please have drawstrings secured before class so that your student does not need to retie them during class.
Please, no gum or jewelry.
- Warm-up pants to protect tights while outside of the studio.
- A bag to store personal items in.
- A water bottle if they choose.
- Students should arrive 5 minutes early to class in order to allow time to quietly come, get shoes on and be ready to join the class on time.
- We ask that parents please not come in with your child as there is limited room in the studio.
- Expect your student to be dismissed from class right on time. Your child can wait for you to come to the studio door to pick them up or they can walk out to greet you at your car, depending on what you are most comfortable with. Unfortunately, with back to back classes, the teacher will not be able to walk out with the students. Also please try not to be more than 5 minutes late to pick them up so as not to disrupt the next class.
- We are excited to have 2 parent observation days during the semester. Since parents don’t get to watch during class time, these days provide an opportunity for the students to show off what they have been learning. Younger siblings that are interested in observing are welcome to come, just be aware that space is limited and there will be no free space for them to get up and walk around.
- It is not uncommon for a student to have an off day where they just don’t want to participate. Every effort will be made to encourage them to join the class; however, if a student still refuses to participate they will be dismissed from class for the rest of that day. Please know that they will be welcomed back for the next class. It is understandable that we all have rough days, but It is necessary for the students to know that while we are in class, we are always working so we can have fun and keep learning.
